Description

Located in the heart of Merida’s historic center, Casa Frederick Catherwood is dedicated to the visual arts of the Yucatan peninsula, the land of the Maya. We create excursions — whether it is an adventure in search of TRUE CHOCOLATE that takes you to a plantation where cacao trees are grown, to journeys of personal enlightenment led by Maya shamans who perform ritual ceremonies, to adventures into caves and sacred cenotes (sink holes) for scuba — that are true adventures.
