Description

Whanganui National Park Canoe and Kayak Tours and Rentals. We have been guiding in the Whanganui National Park since 1987. 1-5 day trips available – just bring your personal gear and we do the rest – all meals, transport, guides and gear included. We have the best food on the river – guaranteed! Trips involve a mixture of camping, huts and a private lodge on one night. Visit the Bridge to Nowhere, and learn about the early Maori and European history of the area. A great trip for families – paddle in our 6 person guided canoes, or two person canadian canoes. Canoe and Kayak hire also available. Other trips include 1-4 days canoing the Rangitikei River, and 1-4 day rafting and inflatable kayak trips on the Upper Mohaka river – camp by natural hot pools on day one. Motel Accommodation available on site – we are 20 minutes drive from the Turoa Ski Resort and the Tongariro National Park/Tongariro Crossing.
