Description

Bidford Gliding is based at a pretty grass airfield located between the Midlands & the Cotswolds in the Vale of Evesham. We are within easy reach of Birmingham, Stratford Upon Avon, Cheltenham and Worcester.

Bidford is an active gliding site where gliders are launched by aerotow i.e. behind another aeroplane. We have a busy training operation and there are also many private gliders based here. Weather permitting, the club operates 7 days a week. Visitors and new members are always welcome and we offer Trial Flights for those who are interested in learning to glide or simply just want to have a go! If you want to treat someone to a glider experience, Gift Vouchers are available too.

As well as the gliding club, there are several small powered aircraft based at Bidford, which adds to the aviation atmosphere. In the clubhouse, to keep you refreshed, there is a caf\351\240\241nd for the evenings, a bar. And if you want to extend your stay, there is also a caravan site with shower facilities.
