Description

Yorkshire Dales Guides was set up in 1991 by Dave Gallivan, and has established an impressive list of clients. Dave has over 45 years experience of caving and is a nationally qualified Caving Instructor (CIC). He has lived and worked in the Yorkshire Dales for over 35 years and has an extensive knowledge of the local cave systems. As well as the British Isles, he has caved all over the world including Europe and Vietnam. Dave holds a MLTE Mountain Walking Leaders Award. He has a vast experience of walking both locally, in other areas in the British Isles and the world. Dave also has CIEH Health & Safety and Risk Assessment qualifications and holds a current First Aid Certificate and Mountain Rescue Casualty Care Certificate. He is a duty controller with the local cave and mountain rescue team.
